Renmin University of China （RUC）

I. Ways of Application:

 Three ways of application are offered to study in Renmin University of China:

 1. Personal application;

 2. For the exchange students: students are recommended by the foreign higher institutions to study in RUC according to the inter-university exchange agreements;

 3. For the CSC scholarship students: students are recommended by China Scholarship Council to study in RUC according to the international exchange agreements.Ways of Application

II. Qualifications:

 1. Degree programs

 (1) Graduate Programs in English

Qualifications: Foreign nationals, Bachelor degree or above, with recommendations of two associate professors or higher, providing a certificate of competence in English, under 40 years old.

 (2) General Graduate Program

 Qualifications:

 (A) Postgraduate students: Foreign nationals, Bachelor degree or above, providing recommendations of two associate professors or higher, good command of Chinese, under 40 years old.

 (B) PhD students: Foreign nationals, Master degree or above, providing recommendations of two associate professors or higher, good command of Chinese, under 40 years old.

 (3) Undergraduate Program

Qualifications: Aged between 18 to 35 years old, high school graduate or above, with foreign passport(persons of Chinese descent have to provide residence cerfication of above 4 years in your country ), good command of Chinese with HSK 6-level or above.

 2. Non-degree programs

 (1) Chinese Language Program

Qualifications: Foreign nationals, aged between 18 to 60 year old, healthy, high school graduate or above.

 (2) Short term Chinese Language Program

Qualifications: Foreign nationals, aged between 18 to 60 year old, healthy, high school graduate or above.

 (3) Junior Visiting Program

Qualifications: Foreign nationals, above 18 year old, good command of Chinese with HSK 6-level or above, undergraduate students or above.

 (4) Advanced Study Program

Qualifications: Foreign nationals, good command of Chinese with at least HSK 6-level or the same level, Master degree or above.

 (5) Pre-University Program

Qualifications: Aged between 18 to 35 years old, high school graduate or above, with foreign passport(persons of Chinese descent have to provide residence certification of above 4 years in your country ), good command of Chinese with HSK 5-level or above.

III. Required Documents:

 These are the documents for your Study Registration:

 1) Valid passport and visa,

 2) The Admission Notice from Rennin University of China(original),

 3) The Visa Application for Study in China form (also known as the JW201/JW202 form) (original),

 4) Tuition (scholarship student and exchange students’ tuition are waived)

 5) Four two-inch ID pictures,

 6) Physical examination record and blood test report (original, if available),

 7) Your insurance card.
